Let me explain how this new product design works.  A machined, solid aluminum adaptor, welded into one end of the Level, slides into the open end of another section, and a 240psi draw latch pulls the two sections together, very tight.  There is no wobble, drooping, movement of any kind when connected.  We use combination plumb & level vials, recessed into the 4inch frame of the Level.  The wall thickness of our Levels are 1/8inch thick, twice that of other levels.  The aluminum used in our Levels is very hard, has to be so that we can weld it.  Each section is powder coated, not painted.   All parts are replaceable in the field, including the combo vials.  And they carry a limited lifetime warranty.

This Product Design took two years to build.  The Engineering and Prototype Design work was done by Mr. Merle Grams, founder of Advanta Industries, in Petersburg, Michigan.  The SlabDoctor is manufactured here, American Made with American Made Parts.  Merle is an expert in his field, and he enjoys a fine reputation as a tool & die Maker, Machinist and Mechanical & Structural Engineer.
